Tapping into global opportunities with intercultural management

Globalization opens up many new opportunities for companies. To take advantage of them, you need to adapt to the framework conditions of the respective countries, markets and cultures. Because: different countries, different customs. If cultural uniqueness is not taken into account, this has a direct impact on productivity and sales. Did you know that?

  • international projects require about 20 percent more time,
  • 70 percent of all mergers fail due to a lack of understanding of the other corporate culture,
  • insufficient preparation costs up to 40 percent more time than planned,
  • every second cross-border project generates unnecessary conflicts due to cultural misunderstandings and causes additional difficulties, costs or time.

The most frequent questions, misunderstandings or differences occur in particular due to a different understanding of leadership or roles: in conflict situations, meeting and project management, communication and dealing with time and commitment.

I offer customized trainings, individual coaching as well as practical management tools that help you to plan and manage cross-border tasks efficiently. Many exercises and examples serve as visualization – with a view to successfully securing the implementation of your international goals.

Target Groups:

  • Employees or teams for preparation/accompaniment on a foreign assignment
  • Domestic employees with new cross-border responsibilities or contacts
  • Foreign managers/teams working at headquarters in Germany or with German partners

“The world is getting smaller, your opportunities are getting bigger. If you understand global markets, you can profit from them.”
